WHAT YOUR DAY-TO-DAY WILL LOOK LIKE
As a Director of Strategy, you’ll be a champion for clients—leading accounts with strategic and creative insight. Your day-to-day will include:
  • Managing the health of an account from the micro to the macro level.
  • Working side-by-side with marketing teams and leadership at fortune 100 companies—from financial services to technology and beyond.
  • Becoming invaluable to your clients by putting structure around their challenges and building on their marketing agendas to help them fill gaps.
  • Diving into market research and conducting interviews to uncover insights to inform strategic and creative solutions.
  • Brainstorming and collaborating with teams to create a variety of work that wows clients.
  • Building brands by defining value propositions, outlining critical messages, and partnering with the creative team to develop visual and verbal identities.
  • Running competitive audits, creating communication plans, and collaborating with creatives to activate campaigns.
  • Impacting Sullivan’s success and momentum, with the opportunity to increase your responsibility.
 
WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE TEAM
  • 5-7 years of experience in marketing strategy, branding, or digital campaign execution—likely at a top tier agency.
  • Track record of rockstar client relationship building.
  • Knack for analyzing, plus balancing strategic and creative thinking.
  • Entrepreneurial drive with a “roll up your sleeves” mindset.
  • Communication mastery—both speaking and writing.
  • Undergraduate degree in business, marketing, communications, English, or the arts from a top tier school.
  • Passion for the power of creative work, with the ability to articulate creative direction while evaluating the quality of both creative ideas and execution.
